Liisa Rahkonen After a three-year period of creative regeneration, Lincoln City artist Liisa Rahkonen at last returns to the Portland gallery scene with "New Work," including several of her signature coastal-inspired landscape paintings in oil, along with new sculptural work - "sea creatures & nests" - of glazed and fired clay.

Rahkonen, recognized nationally as one of Oregon's strongest women regionalist artist, has turned to the landscape surrounding her Siletz Bay home for inspiration for her paintings and her clay forms. This is a show that clearly defines her artistic vision as well as a versatility and competence in several mediums.
